Looking for a tutor to give your son or daughter a little extra support in preparation for the GCSEs? Or perhaps there's a few specific areas in which they need to develop their English skills?
Whatever the case may be, please feel free to give me a call and hopefully I'll be able to offer some tuition to suit their specific needs. Sessions are £40 per hour (except on Saturdays where they are £50) and typically I run 1 hour sessions. However, students in Year 10 and Year 11 have requested longer sessions and I am also able to accommodate this.

A bit about Roxanne Buckland
I am a full time tutor and provide English tuition online to students aged 8-18.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked in both mainstream and special needs schools. I have been department head and I am an examiner for the GCSE English exam board AQA.
​
As well as working with gifted and talented students, I have also worked with students with a variety of learning needs such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy and dyslexia helping them to access the curriculum and make progress.

ENGLISH GCSE
Teaching English GCSE is my specialty. I am an examiner for the AQA board but I am fortunate to be familiar with most of the UK exam boards and their requirements. Please just ask and I will be happy to help students prepare for the Language and Literature exams no matter which exam board their school uses.
